The HDfury Diva OLED display and its info pages
The small OLED on the side of the Diva tells you what the unit is receiving, what it is sending and where it sits on your network. Once you can read it, most troubleshooting stops at a glance.
The OLED turns on as soon as the power supply is applied. The Diva logo appears first, then the default info page, which is the one you will spend most of your time looking at. Pressing the INFO button cycles through the further pages: INFO, then LAN INFO, then HDR INFO, and onward.
The default info page, field by field
- IP address
- The address the Diva has been given, shown here whenever the LAN CONTROL RJ45 socket is connected to your router or switch. Type it into a browser on the same network to reach the webserver. The mDNS address and the other network details are on the LAN INFO page, which you reach by cycling the OLED with the INFO button.
- FW
- The firmware version currently running on the unit, for example FW: 0.6. Quote it whenever you ask for support.
- Active input
- When any active input is connected, the default page names it, for example IN1. Diva then completes the HDCP and EDID handshake with that input, and once it is done the signal information appears alongside it.
- The incoming signal line
- The full description of what the source is actually sending, for example 4K50 4:2:2 BT2020 12b LLDV 594MHz 2.2. That single line gives you resolution and frame rate, chroma subsampling, colorimetry, bit depth, the HDR or Dolby Vision flavour in use, the pixel clock and the HDCP revision.
- TX0, first line
- If a sink is connected at the TX0 output, the Diva reports that sink's EDID name, for example LG TV, together with the maximum format it says it supports, for example 4K60 4:4:4 8b BT2020 HDR. This is the display telling you what it will accept, not what it is being sent.
- TX0, second line
- The signal currently going out to that sink. A small arrow on the right says what the scaler did with it: an up arrow for upscaled, a down arrow for downscaled, and a right arrow for passing through untouched.
Reading the two TX0 lines together is the fastest sanity check there is. If the first line says the display accepts 4K60 4:4:4 and the second says something less with a right arrow, the limit is coming from the source or from the EDID the Diva is presenting, not from the display.
When the display is dark
- OLED OFF
- Either the unit has insufficient power, the OLED fade timer has expired, which happens after 30 seconds by default, or the OLED has been switched off deliberately. Use the Diva power supply rather than a substitute, press any button to wake the display from fade, and check that the OLED is enabled in the CONFIG section of the webserver.
- OLED ON
- The unit is receiving power and is ready to accept an HDMI signal.
